Directions: Take the B6254 road from Kendal to Kirkby Lonsdale. Go through Old Hutton and under the M6 and after ½ mile you will see a small lake on right near a brow in road. Proceed until farm cottage on right and go through gate on left. The car can be parked at top of field. Follow stiles to lake.

Fishing waggler float produces the goods although quiver tipping also works well. Shoals tend to roam a lot so it's best to feed two areas and alternate between them as fishing slows. Fishing is best in Summer especially if there is a light breeze which is virtually gauranteed. Baits to use are maggots, casters, worm & bread - but also try boilies and pellets for the carp which run over 10lb.

Species are Carp, Chub, Roach, Perch, Gudgeon and Tench.
