THE SIGHT-BOB KILLER
This fly is superb in the difficult and often sunny and hot
conditions of August.
It is best fished static using a sight indicator and basically
the brighter it is the deeper you fish it. Normally about 8' or
slightly deeper is a good starting point in the bright sun. Takes
are usually very fast and the fly is often rejected quickly so
watch the indicator closely for the take. This fly will put a few
fish in your bag when all else fails in hot dour conditions.
An extremely simple fly to tie.
Materials Required:
Wide gape hook sizes 10-14, gold bead to match hook size, and
Glo Brite floss in shocking pink.
Tying:
1. Thread on the gold bead and take up to hook eye.

2. Tie in the fluo floss behind the gold bead and in tight
touching turns wind down the shank and finish just before the bend
(you can take the floss partly around the bend if you so wish).
Next, work the thread up and down the shank to form a carrot
shape with the widest part immediately behind the bead.

3. Whip finish behind the bead.

4. Coat the entire body with Hard as Nails and once dry, the
fly is finished.
